The house is mind-blowing, with jaw-dropping conversions and super use of limited space. The comfortable, great-looking rooms were a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect for exploring the area, including nearby Snowdonia and the fabulous little town with its EXCELLENT Cornmill pub. Inside, the cottage was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully refurbished. Wi-fi, offsite car park, cycling, golf course, cots. I can't wait to return!

The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The cottage was also well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The park opposite the cottage was a bonus, providing a great space for our dog and young children to play.
There were a few cleanliness issues in the property that need to be addressed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Catref in Llangollen for a 5-day getaway and it was the perfect base for exploring the area. The house has been beautifully converted and the limited space was utilized exceptionally well. Every room was comfortable and looked fantastic. I especially loved the well-equipped kitchen that had everything I needed. The location of the property was excellent, allowing me to easily explore Llangollen and even venture into Snowdonia. I particularly enjoyed the charming town and a visit to the Cornmill pub. I had a wonderful experience at Catref and I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in the area.
While there were many positive aspects, I did encounter a couple of minor issues during my stay. the single entrance door opened directly onto a busy main road, which made it a little tricky to navigate with my dog.
